In 1997, he joined the Ministry of Labor and Social Security as an intern, remaining in that position until 1999. He worked in the Consultation Department, gaining excellent technical expertise in labor matters and developing an in-depth knowledge of labor issues and the workings of the MTSS.

He is the partner responsible for the various litigation matters handled by our firm in the labor, civil, commercial, and administrative practice areas. He has litigated against banks, various government agencies, companies, and individuals, representing both plaintiffs and defendants.

He specializes in employment law advisory for businesses, both in individual labor disputes and in all matters related to collective labor law: Wage Councils, collective bargaining, trade unions, etc. Since 1997, he has been the designated negotiator for the Uruguayan Tannery Industry Chamber before the Tannery and Products Wage Council.

He delivers labor law courses for clients and their staff, covering payroll and benefits calculations, social security contributions, employment contracts, general employment law matters, and labor documentation.
